This event will launch Yale Africa Week. We are having it in a Yale dining hall to allow as many YASA members to gather as possible. Members without swipe access will convene in the common room.
This year, Africa Week will focus on reconnecting with home – something that we’ve all missed and would undoubtedly want to experience again. As we welcome this new shade of normalcy, it is also a time for reflection and a time to celebrate our unique identities and how we contribute to the vibrant African landscape. Africa Week this year aims to bridge connections by exploring me, myself, and different facets of African innovation. By looking inward, we are not restricting ourselves to individualism. We seek community, connections, creativity, and cultures that are truly beautiful. We welcome everyone to celebrate the Motherland with YASA!
Events are open to all members of the Yale community.
