Bill & Fred’s Adventures

Bill and Fred set out on an adventure, where they soon find one another both absolutely necessary and totally intolerable. Throughout their journey—told through an innovative combination of dance, circus, and physical theater—they become master resolvers of the absurd, searching for belonging and backpacks. A unique take on the classic comedy duo, Adventures asks, what if losing your way is the best way to find what you are looking for?

About Bill and Fred Productions

Elysia Mc Mullen and Luisa Schmitz met during their time as students at Fontys Dance Academy in the Netherlands. One morning, they decided to make a short piece together, and just like that, Bill and Fred were born. McMullen and Schmitz went on to found the company Bill and Fred Productions and create their first full evening show—Adventures—in 2020. Together, Bill and Fred continue to break ground artistically, bringing professional dance and clown to new heights with their precise, humorous, and unique movement style.
