Yale College Dean Pericles Lewis hosts conversations with faculty experts on the U.S. presidential election, on topics ranging from policies to processes, from polarization to persuasion.  Join fellow Yale students to converse together in person and cut through the often divisive effects of online discussions.

Jacob S. Hacker Ph.D'00 is Stanley Resor Professor of Political Science, Co-Director of the Ludwig Program in Public Sector Leadership at Yale Law School, and a resident fellow of the Institution for Social and Policy Studies at Yale University. An expert on American politics and policy, he is the author or co-author of more than a half-dozen books, numerous journal articles, and a wide range of popular writings.  WEBSITE jacobhmacker.com

Cristina M. Rodríguez '95, JD'00 is the Leighton Homer Surbeck Professor of Law at Yale Law School. Her fields of research and teaching include constitutional law and theory, immigration law and policy, administrative law and process, and citizenship theory. In 2021, she was appointed by President Biden to co-chair the Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States. Her recent writings include the 2020 Foreword to the Harvard Law Review, “Regime Change,” and the book, The President and Immigration Law, co-authored with Adam Cox and published by Oxford University Press.
