EveryBody Dances with Alec Cohen

EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome. This week Alec Cohen will teach Intro to Popstar Dance.

Alec Cohen is a bicoastal choreographer and dance educator! He has choreographed for notable artists including Chrissy Chlapecka, Mel 4Ever, Luxx Noir London, Alaska Thunderf*ck 5000, Jan Sport, Jackie Cox, Marty Miller, and Missy McIntosh, and many others! Alec’s popular “Intro to Popstar Dance” class has sold out in cities across the country, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Provincetown. Recently, he was mentioned in the New York Times as a dance correspondent, where he offered advice to Anna Delvey for her appearance on Dancing with the Stars. As a performer, Alec has danced in Broadway National Tours, served as a backup dancer for major music artists, and appeared on network television. He works it fiercely and slays it while doing so.
