EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome. This week's class will be led by Dr. Bailey Holt-Gosselin and is a Beyoncé-themed heels (optional) workshop.

Class Description:

"don't worry, Be Yoncé with Dr. Bailey"

Have you always wanted to feel and dance like Beyoncé? This class is your chance to channel your inner Queen Bee! You will be guided through dance technique exercises, a brief warm-up, and learn a fierce and feminine heels dance to one of Beyoncé's iconic songs. Choreography is beginner-friendly and open to all dance levels. Class is a low stress, judgment-free, highly supportive environment for you to have fun, connect with fellow dance and Beyoncé lovers, and appreciate your body for the amazing things it can do! You are guaranteed to leave this class feeling stronger and more confident so get ready to sweat, slay, and shine!

For this workshop, you are encouraged to wear whatever clothing makes you feel comfortable and empowered. Heels are optional - if you don't have or want to wear heels, socks or sneakers (that aren't too grippy) are a great alternative. See here for a list of heels suggestions!
