Hosted by Ngoma Hall and Croilot Semexan, this year's event honors Zanette Lewis who planted the seeds from which this signature program has grown. Join us in celebrating Dr. King through verse and spoken word, followed by a tribute to Zanette Lewis featuring our hosts and a phenomenal line up of renowned poets, including:

  • Taalam Acey
  • Roger Bonair Agard
  • Lyvonne Proverbs Briggs
  • Jessica Care Moore
  • Aaron Jafferis
  • Sunni Patterson.

This signature program is part of The 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Legacy of Social and Environmental Justice, which has been reimagined and transformed into a series of  free, online programs with opportunities to engage in critical dialogue and enjoy storytelling, music, dance, and spoken work performances.
