Yale Schwarzman Center is delighted to present The View from Here: Accessing Art Through Photography in partnership with the Yale Center for British Art; the Lens Media Lab, Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage; and the Yale School of Art.

This exhibition highlights the work of thirteen student-photographers from Greater New Haven who participated in The View from Here in fall 2024 and winter 2025. Now in its fourth year, this program brings together young people to learn about the history, materials, and practice of photography through direct engagement with museum educators, curators, museum staff, faculty, and photography professionals.

This year’s program participants are Bria Biney, Natalie Clorio, Ameiya Gatling-Cooper, Marasi Elsheikh, Camila Ibarra, Hera Jermyn, Brendan Lopez, Danyele McCrory, William Perez, Yoselin Perez, Betsy Roblero, TJ Samuel, and Trinity Stephens. Visit the Yale Center for British Art website HERE  to read their artist statements and learn more.

Additional support for this exhibition has been provided by the Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage and Yale West Campus.
