Performing works by both well-known composers and newly commissioned works from her latest album Manuscripts Don’t Burnpianist Inna Faliks shares some of her most personal work paying homage to her Ukrainian heritage, her hometown of Odesa, and so much more. As one of the most communicative and poetic artists of her generation, Faliks speaks to her love of dialogue between music and words. “The connections between text and sound here are not just literal but emotional, based on memory, intuition, dreams and hopes,” remarks Faliks.

This program will be performed without intermission. It will include readings of passages from Inna Faliks’ book: Weight in the Fingertips (Globe Pequot, 2023). Bring your copy of Inna’s new memoir, Weight in the Fingertips, for Inna to sign following the second performance. Purchase on Amazon
