Premium Tasting:  Unlock the secrets of sake with our expert-led tasting! Discover the fascinating world of Japan's national beverage, exploring its rich history, unique production methods, and diverse flavor profiles. Join Timothy Sullivan for an unforgettable journey through the world of sake. This premium tasting includes six types of sake, Sake 101, and Q&A with Timothy Sullivan. There will also be cheese and crackers to snack on through the tasting. Please note that a $15 materials fee will be charged at the door.

Timothy Sullivan is the founder of UrbanSake.com, started in 2005 it is America's longest-running sake education website and a treasure trove of information on anything related to sake. In 2007, Timothy was awarded the title of "Sake Samurai" by the Japan Sake Brewers Association in recognition of his work promoting sake outside of Japan.  Timothy is certified as an International Sake Sommelier by Japan's Sake Service Institute (SSI), as an Advanced Sake Professional by the Sake Education Council (SEC), and has earned the prestigious J.S.A. Sake Diploma from the Japan Sommelier Association. In 2017, Timothy completed a rigorous 12-month sake brewing internship at Hakkaisan Sake Brewery in Niigata, Japan. He is now the Global Brand Ambassador for Hakkaisan Sake. In 2020, Timothy Sullivan began producing and hosting America's first and only sake podcast: Sake Revolution, a fun and beginner-friendly show dedicated to all things sake.  

Since November 2023, Timothy has been working as the Director of Education at the Sake Studies Center at Brooklyn Kura.  This is the only sake school in the country located at a working sake brewery and it focuses on both consumer and professional sake classes focused on sake pairing, tasting, production and enjoyment.  Please visit SakeStudiesCenter.com to learn more.
